Confessions of a Kitbasher

After a long hiatus, I'm getting back into the modelmaking 'groove' again. This year's first effort is a silver RAF Mustang Mk.IV, using the Tamiya kit with propellor, seat and exhausts from Ultracast, NMF from Alclad II and decals from Sweating Beaver (IPMS Canada). The Tamiya 1/48th scale Mustang is a beautifully engineered kit, and no filler at all - and very little sanding - was needed on this model.
