Where we're at!
Here are the promised pictures of the starting points for these two models. The Spitfire's airframe is substantially complete :
It's basically a Tamiya Mk.I with the Airwaves PR.VII conversion. This comprises the fuel tank aft of the cockpit, a newe canopy and these underside mods :
The Camel, on the other hand, is - apart from removing the fuselage halves and the wings from the sprue - unstarted :
